Various resources on Colorado's state courts, hiring "hold" and hiring key positions

The Colorado Judicial Branch offers various resources to help members of the media report on Colorado's state courts. Press releases and announcements of judicial vacancies and appointments are posted on this Web site and e-mailed directly to people who have asked to receive such e-mails.

Guidelines of interest to reporters include:
- a reference guide to Colorado Revised Statutes governing access to court records,
- the policy on cameras in the courtroom, and
- policy documents available through the public access page.

As of July 2009, the Colorado Judicial Branch is currently under a hiring "hold" and has limited hiring to key positions. 14th Judicial District

The 14th Judicial District has 3 court locations. At each court location you will find:

  • Reporting schedules with dates for upcoming trials,
  • Driving directions and map of the reporting locations,
  • Phone numbers to verify the status of a trial,
  • Contact information for the local jury commissioner,
  • A postponement form to request a later appearance date,
  • A disqualification form to request excuse from jury service.
