Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk

The 2009 Step Up for Down Syndrome walk was a huge success with your support! We had hundreds of more walkers than we did last year and raised thousands of dollars that will go to support the fine work of MHDSA.

While the “official” numbers are still being counted, we are confident that this year’s walk was as much a financial success as it was a spiritual success. As MHDSA Board President Tim Atkinson said; “Was this the best day ever or what!?” Stay tuned for the official numbers and once again thank you!

A very special thank you to Lenny’s Sub Shop for picking up the food needs as well as the Civitan’s for all of their hard work. More thanks to come as well…, but a huge thank you to all of you that came out and Stepped Up for MHDSA on a beautiful September day in City Park!

The mission of Mile High Down Syndrome Association is to assure inclusion and enhance independence of people with Down syndrome. We will achieve this by providing education, resources and support in partnership with individuals, families, professionals, and the community.
