Habitat provides assistance to families who earn too much to qualify for government subsidies, but do not qualify for a loan to purchase a home. Those families fall in the range of 35% to 50% of the are median income. Homes are built primarily with donated materials and volunteer labor and can be sold at no profit and no interest to buyer. The Home Supply Store accepts donations of furniture, appliances, household goods, cars, etc.
