Twelve step support group for teenaged friends and family members of alcoholics. Sponsored by Al-Anon. ( Meetings are at Trinity Lutheran Church (West Room), 301 East Stuart St. (west entry), FC.
Al-Anon
Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems. The primary purpose is to help families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of problem drinking.
The only requirement for membership is having a relative or friend who is an alcoholic (and who also may abuse other drugs). There are no dues for Al-Anon membership. Each Al-Anon Family Group is autonomous and self-supporting through voluntary contributions.
