CHP+ at Work
A new program is available for employees of the Denver Health and Hospital Authority (only) to help qualified families to pay for their health plan that is offered at work. If you qualify, CHP+ at Work will send you up to $100 a month for each of your children who are qualified who are enrolled in your employer's health plan. Your family may qualify if your children:
- live in Colorado
- are under the age of 19
- are citizens of the U.S. or in an accepted immigration group
- have no other health insurance
- meet CHP+ income limits; and
- choose a health plan at work
Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)

Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) is low-cost health insurance for Colorado's uninsured children and pregnant women. CHP+ is public health insurance for children and pregnant women who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid, but cannot afford private health insurance.
Who is eligible?
- Children age 18 and under and pregnant women age 19 and over
- Applicants with houshold income under 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). to see if your income qualifies for CHP+
