Adolescent Services, Community Service - LCDHS

A program that diverts youth from the juvenile justice system and prevents them from being incarcerated in adult facilities. May offer juvenile offenders the opportunity to provide useful public service to the community as an alternative form or restitution for breaking the law.

Provides human services which assist individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency and social well-being. Services are provided directly by department personnel and through collaborations or contracts with other community agencies.
