The Sheriff's office is responsible for law enforcement, investigations, and detentions within Routt County, Colorado. The Routt County Sheriff's office works hand-in-hand with community members to provide protection and service to our community as a whole. Detention Center - Services
The Routt County Detention Center is designed to accommodate approximately 54 inmates in minimum, medium, and maximum security units and special housing areas. The facility has accommodations for both male and female detainees, utilizing separate housing.
Registered Sex Offenders-Routt County, Colorado
The Colorado Sex Offender Registry includes only those persons who have been required by law to register and who are in compliance with the sex offender registration laws. Persons should not rely solely on the sex offender registry as a safeguard against perpetrators of sexual assault in their communities. The crime for which a person is convicted may not accurately reflect the level of risk.
