The Oak Creek Fire Department is made up of 49 men and women dedicated to providing the highest level of service to the community. Maintaining high professional standards and integrity is paramount to our organization. We stand ready to execute our mission - Prevent Harm, Provide Care, and Protect Each Other.

Our department is made up of 16 Fire Fighter/EMTs, 20 Fire Fighter/Paramedics, 4 Lieutenants, 5 Lieutenant / Paramedics, 4 Battalion Chiefs, an Assistant Chief, and the Fire Chief. We are also supported by our Staff Secretary. There are 16 personnel assigned to each of the 3 shifts (A Shift, B Shift, and C Shift) with one Firefighter assigned as a Fire Inspector.

The members of the Oak Creek Fire Department are involved in the community in more ways then just fire prevention and emergency response. Our members fill many roles, from membership on boards and committees, to positions as coaches and instructors. Our department prides itself on being an active member of the City of Oak Creek.

Program:

Department Training Happening Around Town

Ventilation of a roof during a fire can make the working conditions inside the house less dangerous for fire fighters. This tactic helps remove much of the super heated gases inclucing "smoke" from the house allowing fire fighters longer working times.
