The purpose of this non-profit Society is to join the physicians of Larimer County together into one organization, the mission of which is to provide local representation to the Colorado Medical Society and to provide a forum for discussion of social, scientific, and legislative concerns, which affect the health of the citizens of Larimer County.
The Larimer and Weld County Medical Societies are proud to once again join our Societies to present a night with Northern Colorado’s State and National Legislators.

Colorado QuitLine Urges Physicians to Refer Patients
Physicians and other healthcare providers are in a unique position in Colorado to help patients quit smoking, particularly during this time of year. With over 630,000 adults in Colorado currently smoking, state healthcare costs related to smoking exceed $1 billion annually and seventeen percent of all Medicaid expenditures are spent on smoking-related illnesses.
