Program:

Fort Collins Read-Aloud Programs

Fort Collins Read-Aloud is a non-profit, all volunteer community agency organized to heighten awareness of the importance of reading to young children. Agencies and schools may request volunteer readers to be placed with their organization. Fort Collins Read Aloud works cooperatively with programs for young children such as Head Start and Title I Reading.

Volunteer Opportunities - Fort Collins Read-Aloud

Fort Collins Read-Aloud recruits, trains, and places volunteers, upon request, to read to young children in a variety of sites in Fort Collins. Training of volunteers is scheduled throughout the year as needed. Basic training is required for all readers before placement. A responsible agency, school or organization may request the placement of a trained volunteer.
