FCEA offers childbirthing, postpartum, breastfeeding and parenting classes and seminars, as well as a teacher certification curriculum program. Also offers labor support to women and families who need or desire assistance. Breast Feeding and New Parent Support groups are available. The FCEA Board of Directors and faculty meet on the second Friday of each month to conduct the organizations business. Prospective members encouraged to attend.
Labor Preparation and Education-Foothills Childbirth Education AS
7 week series - taught by certified childbirth and labor preparation instructors. Class topics include relaxation and breathing, labor & birth positions, exercise, and the role of the support person.
Postpartum Education Classes-Foothills Childbirth Education Assn
4 week series - topics include development, breast feeding troubleshooting, soothing crying babies, immunizations and sibling preparation.
