The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless families and at-risk children and individuals throughout Colorado. CCH advocates and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve health, welfare and stability of those it serves.

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless has been helping the homeless for almost 25 years. Consider that the definition of homelessness to the person who is not a fixed, regular or adequate. More than 3.5 million Americans, including more than 1 million children, are seeking lasting solutions for homeless people this year.

The main causes of homelessness in the United States include the lack of affordable rental housing, increasing poverty rates, eroding employment opportunities, reduced access to health services (especially the treatment of diseases mental and addictive disorders), and decreased public assistance - now exacerbated by the rising costs of childcare, gas, food and electricity.
